Welcome Susie Yeo to the BCBS Team

Susie is a curious, compassionate and multifaceted individual who is thrilled to be moving into the position of Residential Program Manager at BCBS. With a wide-ranging background in allopathic medicine, sustainable agriculture, and bodywork, she brings a unique blend of skills and passions to this role.

Through hands-on experience in medicine, farming and bodywork, Susie deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of nature, community, health and the human body. Among Susie’s core values are remembering and rediscovering freedom from oppressive ideologies and structures. Her presence at BCBS is a testament to her experience that mindfulness and compassion can be powerful catalysts for meaningful change, and to Susie, meditation and somatic wisdom are profound tools for cultivating personal and collective transformation.

She is committed to creating spaces where people and communities can heal, grow, and thrive while fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment through relational culture and anti-oppressive praxis. A perpetual work in progress and always learning, Susie aims to embody and integrate these principles in her daily life which she considers inseparable from the dharma and an essential part of her practice.

For fun, she loves to do nothing, grow food and flowers, cook, draw and practice yoga and dance.
