Jiamin Li

Jiamin Li is thrilled to join the Touching the Earth faculty team as an assistant for 2025. Jiamin calls a few places home—Hong Kong, California, Florida, and Fuzhou, China—and most recently Massachusetts after completing a BA in International Relations with a concentration in Global Health, Nutrition, and the Environment at Tufts University. She is currently a second-year Master of Divinity student at Harvard Divinity School with an interest in memory, intergenerational and historical trauma, ecology, art, and Buddhist chaplaincy. Outside of classes, she works in multiple capacities—as the Director of HDS Buddhist community, the Director of Retreat for the Burning Refuge Collective, and a Field Education intern with Barre Center for Buddhist Studies—to explore Buddhist visions and practices for social-spiritual liberation and justice. Jiamin loves painting, photography, writing, cooking, and idling outside. She aspires to learn more about how we can cultivate more loving relationships with each other and the earth.
